Forecastfox is a free extension that brings international weather forecast from AccuWeather.com to your Mozilla Firefox web browser, with dynamic satellite images that are constantly updated. You can use your zip code or you can easily find your town or city by using the built in search tool. It is unobtrusive and lightweight, and it can be customized to display as much data as you wish.

By default, the plug-in will show 3 icons on the toolbar. The first one refers to the current weather, the second to the forecast of the current day, and the third one to the forecast of the next day. If you can’t find what you are looking for, click on these icons displayed to open the AccuWeather.com forecast for your location. A slider, similar to a notification for when downloads are complete, pops up from the bottom right corner of your screen when the current conditions are updated. This slider can be customize to choose what appears in it or you can even disable it. Read more »
